Wanna Brownie? They're Spicy!

I am a very popular guy you know. I’m kind of a big deal. Actually, I’m just busy with work this week and off to a cousin’s wedding. As a result, I’m traveling and seeing a lot of people lately, which of course coincides with my trying to get back into the blog. Oh well, at least I’m doing a late night quickie, which is the most action I’ve gotten in awhile. Yeah, uh, right. Anyway, here we go.
The buzz and questions and accusations continue to fly in the wake of Henry’s departure from Arsenal. Most of it is rubbish, so that’s the end of that. Not much else has happened with the club this week, and I doubt too much more will. Wenger is on holiday, so until he gets back, we’re all just chillin.
Down on the south coast of England, Ian Holloway is planning for next season at Plymouth and hoping to improve on their 11th place finish last season. "We had 16 draws last year but had we won about four of those then we would have been in one of those positions," said Holloway. And by one of those, he means a playoff spot for promotion to the Premiership. There is still a bit of work for him to do and he is hoping to not only keep a lot of his players, but to bring Chelsea boy Sinclair back to Home Park on another loan spell. Speaking of Home Park, the club is going to have to close it’s Mayflower terrace due to rules that all Championship and Prem clubs be all seaters (no terraces). They were given a 3 year pass when promoted in 2003. It is said though that even with the all seaters, they should be fine on capacity.
The U.S. sawker team plays against the Argies tomorrow. USA! USA! USA! We have guests coming in town when the match is to be showing, so I’ll just have to put it on in the background. A background that I’ll be paying close attention to. It’s just old neighbors that are coming to visit and they know the score. When football is on, all bets are off. My participating in conversations at half time is much appreciated, at least I think so. Anyway, here’s hoping to a few goals and Gooch knocking a few of the Argies on their arses. Finally, all you lovers of the herb, time for you to go Indo. To Indonesia that is, as the country has legalized putting pot in food. It is supposed to be used only as a spice they say. “Hey mon, want some ‘spciy’ brownies?” Totally wrong written accent, but whatever, it’s my blog.
I’m off to a boat ride and a long walk down a revetment tomorrow.
Adios.
